Zen Up CIC was formed in June 2023 at 206 Witton Rd, Aston, Birmingham, B6 6LB, as a community interest company (CIC). Zen Up CIC’s company registration number is 14917399. It is a special type of limited company which exists to benefit the community rather than its private shareholders.
The funds will be used for the benefit of the social objectives rather than for the individual shareholders.
The company’s activities will be available for all members of the public to access regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, and religion..
We aim to support and empower underserved, disconnected, and marginalised communities facing challenges in employment, education, deprivation, gang culture, and substance abuse. This includes vulnerable groups such as ex-offenders, former armed forces personnel, LGBTQ+ individuals, and those experiencing poverty and homelessness. Our focus is on reaching those who often face barriers and providing them with the resources, opportunities, and support they need to overcome these challenges and improve their lives.
Our mission is to bring inspiration and nurture those around us. By assisting communities and providing vital services and support to remove disadvantages. We will bring together local members and local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance the above aims.
Our company will benefit those living in the West Midlands and inner-city Birmingham.
